Departing from the works of the exhibition Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960-1985, in this presentation I analyze a group of its works in relation to the concepts of race, ethnicity and empathy. This presentation will consider the difficulties involved in analyzing such perspectives in Latin American art and the need to reposition our practices in order to problematize the canon of art, both from gender and race perspectives.
