AWARE is a non-profit organisation founded by 7 women with different backgrounds but all driven by the same enthusiasm (three lawyers, Margot Mérimée Dufourcq, Daphné Moreau, Nathalie Rigal; a curator, Camille Morineau; a violinist, Elisabeth Pallas; a public accountant, Alexandra Vernier-Bogaert; and a writer, Julie Wolkenstein). Three permanent staff members and a team of volunteers, students, and professionals from major cultural institutions also contribute to its existence.
